Shushanik Karapetyan is an artist and a psychotherapist based in New York. She has used artistic expression as a therapeutic intervention to heal herself and the people she works with. Her work is meditative and intuitive in nature, placing significance on the process. She is inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe, often communicating femininity, sensuality and organic motifs. Shushanik has participated in various group shows at the BRIC, the Irish Art Center, and the Plaxall Gallery. Her art has been published by literary art journals such as Driftwood Press, Storm Cellar, The Sonder Review, and The Colloquial Poetry Review.
